• Advocated for student voices.

•General Intake for Transient Veterans via the Homeless Veterans Project and assisted with medical evaluation with visiting facility doctor, administered medical prescriptions, aided with suicide prevention, worked with homeless to gain houses through federal funded programs, and ensured no substance abuse while running additional administrative tasks.

•Outreach Coordinator: Was able to gain more than 30 clients for LCSW, MFT, and Vocational Rehabilitation counselors. Most cliental go through programs consisting of 1-2 years (including post follow-ups).Outsourced Clients to medical facilities within the Health Department of VA Palo Alto System, this was done by scheduling appointments and preparing medical case work for clients.

•Administrative Support: Maintained a file system of over 500 clients upgrading paper files into electronic files for paperless act initiative; paper system was retrograded to a higher echelon for in accordance with the Privacy Act and FOIA.

•Reconciled multiple types of claims to include refunds, exchanges, complaints, and account updates that subordinates could not process by utilizing management information systems. •Averaged a QA ratio of 94%, ensured a one stop call solution for phone calls, and gained multiple customer satisfactory reports.

 

Supply Chain Specialist

United States Marine Corps

August 2004 – October 2009 ,  Twenty-Nine Palms, CA

• Requisitioned and maintained inventories of materials necessary to meet production demands.
• Distributed vital supplies via conveys through Al Anbar Providence, providing all supply classes of materials to over 2,100 coalition members completing over 75 deliveries flawlessly.
• Coordinated over sea shipments from numerous regions of the United States, ensuring priority items expedited within one month of order to final receipt of product. This allowed supply readiness over demand.
• Reconciled general property reports with maintenance supervisors for acquisitions in high end items such as seven-ton vehicles and communication assets valued over $1.2 million dollars.
• Ordered, tracked, and traced items that were requisitioned ensuring delivery to over 1,200 customers annually utilizing a team of 10 personal.
• Embarked very sensitive and technological equipment worth over one million dollars using minimal guidance from higher authority, was able to accomplish delivery utilizing a team of 30 service members and 10 contracted drivers.
• Used prior networks to procure storage units to in an effort to upgrade warehouse supervisor’s external containment area increasing scale size an additional 50%. This allowed better organization of supplies and faster trafficking of storage and shipment.
• Managed to identify supply accounting errors from previous years while still being able to stay functional within current fiscal year. This allowed more time for supply procurement and less time for fiscal management producing budget ratio to expand 30% from $1.5 million dollars to $1.9 million dollars.
• Cross trained co-workers to effectively procure, track, and receive all materials for contingency operations in support of coalition forces. This allowed efforts to divert to property management and property maintenance with other department supervisors.
